Looks like really early Alps.

Ripster has a board with similar switches:

There's a Mitsumi logo on the bottom of the switch (pencilled to make it stand out a little better) —

ALPS Electronics probably made the M0110. Mitsumi the M0110A.

Your typical ALPS MindFuck.

The keycaps are the same style in the M0110 and M0110A, however, the housing, and CapsLock mechanisms are different.

Funny how they kept this confusing ALPS vs Mitsumi up till even the AEK2!

Why? The M0110 is "Made in USA".

The old-style Mac keyboards I've seen all had that switch. Pretty mediocre to type on.

Is there a way to add a CTRL key to the M0010A? Or some way to input the CONTROL command into an old Macintosh?

I'm looking for M0110A with ALPS to fix some switch defect of my M0110.
Looks like M0110A has three variations(at least)! :o

M0110: made in USA: ALPS
M0110A made in USA: ALPS http://kbtalking.cool3c.com/article/29717
M0110A made in JAPAN MITSUMI
M0110A made in TAIWAN SMK http://kbtalking.cool3c.com/article/29020

I got a "Made in Malaysia" M0110A involuntarily the other day.
It is a platinum colour board with MITSUMI switches and looks like same as "Made in Japan" over all.
It is NOT out of common.
