I recently destroyed my CM Storm QuickFire XT with cherry mx reds, and am currently suffering through some ergofanatic squishy mess they claim is a keyboard. I have used the CM for 4-5 years, and am absolutely sold on that sort of design. However, they don't appear to make them anymore, and used ones are either 500+ dollars because of wacky price algorithms or are ones with the wrong switches.
Does anybody know of any quality keyboards similar to the CM's design? Straight, similar angle, relatively compact, etc.
I would appreciate any recommendations, thank you.

CM Storms are bog-standard Costar boards. So are WASD Keyboards. So I'd check out WASD Keyboards.

I spilled my tea on it! A horrible accident, the memorial is being held tomorrow. I didn't know that those keyboards were just rebrands, it's a good thing I came here. After searching a bit I think I found a Rosewill that looks very similar, which is also costar if i am correct?XMIT wrote: ↑CM Storms are bog-standard Costar boards. So are WASD Keyboards. Yeah, that's basically the same board.
I bet someone here would take your old board. Everything is fixable. Switches can be cleaned, controllers can be replaced.

Yeah I took it apart a bit, and it's obvious liquid and other gunk got to the circuit board, but I didn't see anything burnt or fried, so I didn't really understand what exactly broke. Seems like you guys know more about it, let me know.XMIT wrote: ↑Yeah, that's basically the same board.
