I was cleaning my keyboard and after finishing and putting it back together i realised that the space bar is now mich harder to press and i am unable to use the left or right side of the spacebad.

Have you verified that the stabilizers are re-installed properly?

Otherwise, people need to know what type of assembly you are asking about.

Your keyboard seems to have other problems than just that
On a more serious note, of course more details are needed.
You should probably post pics of all parts of the stabilizer assembly.

The wires clip into the retaining clips on the board. If you don't clip them in, the spacebar is unstabilized.

The hooks on the metal part inside the spacebar have to be underneath the small hooks in the plastic part:

BTW, your keyboard is a rubberdome keyboard and would would not be classified as a mechanical keyboard by most, if not all people. ;)

FaceU 60%

Too many switches, too little time (and money).
