[Photos] IBM 3277 Beamspring

Just received two IBM mini 3277s in the mail today!

Microswitch: Left - Beamspring: Right

I wasn't sure if any of them was the beamspring version, but I was very exited when I tested the second keyboard and got a wonderful click :D

What's really interesting is the quality difference in the key caps between the micro switch and beamspring variants. I have 2 other microswitch 3277s and all 3 seem to have this brown-ish wear on the white lettering, but the beamspring ones look fantastic! Also how some of he modifiers on the microswitch are thicker

Nice find :) Both from the same source?

I could have guessed which is which from just the photos, I think. The keys next to the space bar are q giveaway for beam spring.

This is the first 3277 mini beamspring I've found. I have 3 other 3277 minis but they are microswitch

Awesome find. I was bought mine not knowing what switch I had. I got a wonderful click as well. This the first time I've seen both versions side by side.
