Full title: [EN][1988.03.19]PLESSEY DISPLAYS QWERTY KB[(Clicky)RSM82-1A]
FCC ID: unknown
MFD: 1988.03.19
Sort: Magnetic reed
Switch: FR Electronics(RS?) reed switch
Variant: (Clicky)RSM82-1A
I couldn't find any information about this very rare keyboard. It could be the military keyboard. You know that PLESSEY made some electronic machine for them.
That's my second keyboard with reed switch. Not bad to have the new found reed switch.
Cleaning near to 90%. This dirty boy not just dirty, it has so much dead small unknown worm in it...!
Will find some time to do the research.
I broke some reed when took out the switch. Hope to buy the new stock if someone can help me out.

You can just make out the FR Electronics RSM 83-1A switches in the Racal RA1792 receiver front panel:

Sadly the writing isn't visible in the pictures: it faces upwards. RSM 83-1A is the same as 82-1A but heavier. Interesting spherical keycaps on them too.
I've still not found the actual series details. Part numbers that seem to belong to FR include RSM62-1A, RSM62-1AL (using a 28 V lamp), RSM82-1A, RSM82-2AX and RSM83-1A:

I'm guessing that RSM 6* and 8* are separate series but I can't tell. RSM82-2AX sounds interesting: I assume it's 2 form A (DPST NO) but I don't know what the X signifies. Sadly none of the parts on that page are correctly attributed to FR. RSM83-1A for example is attributed to Racal, but Racal was the customer of FR.
