I'm calling it now as a rubberdome with cherry compat thin dyesubs (because I have a similar one with an identical stepped enter).

Meh.. the stepped enter is pretty common. You could be totally right, but I hope you're wrong.

plenty of things of interest there to a vintage computer enthusiast like myself, I would definitely take a trip there if I were you. cant tell you much about the circled system, however it looks a bit like a commodore PET.

It's a variation of those 'paper port' keyboards. At least I think that's what they were called. It's a scanner, like bluefox said. There's another model on Ebay somewhere at this moment I believe.

The whole brochure scanned in high resolution (11 pages, 16 MB), showing several TH-5539 models as well as various views inside of the factory. It's not dated, but Felly thinks it's from the 90s, and that would appear to be the case too.

Can anyone ID the keyboard in the picture? It looks like some XT clone, which they just put on top of an IBM system, because it looks vintage. ish.

Those switches were on sale on AliExpress for some typically extortionate fee. I'm not sure what would have happened if someone decided to (My Little) pony up and order some — would they run the keyboard through a band saw and slice off a section, complete with dome sheet, slider plate, membranes and sliders?

The IC is marked "Copam", who are a known keyboard manufacturer. (Whether the owned a factory or just subcontracted the manufacturing work like Costar et al do, I don't know.)

Nope, this one has a slider that sits inside a guide shaft. The keystem has snapped off — chances are it's cruciform mount. Most likely membrane of some kind. Curious enter key: looks to be 1/4 u wider than normal.
