So, I'm waiting on another AEKII which I got for roughly $45 including shipping, and a lot with what I'm guessing is a Tulip 9151B, NMB RT-102 and two other which I'm not completely sure of (could be rubber domes for all I know). The latter I got for roughly $70 including shipping. I could be wasting my money, but it's always fun to wait for the mail to arrive! :)
Well this lot turned out to be a huge disappointment! At least I got two boards that have alps-compatible keycaps, but none of the boards were mechanical. :x

Got a G81-3000 LPNRD with German-Russian layout from ebay kleinanzeigen.
Never typed on MY switches before, so wasn't sure if and how much I would hate them.
Turns out, I do hate them, but I love the keycaps, although they could definitely use some cleaning.
It even came with the manual.

Noice! Now put modern hardware in it then you've got one badass laptop (easier said than done, though).

Yes, that'd be something! I mainly got it for the keycaps though, but we'll see what happens..

Hey. Most, but not all of these will be in the mail tomorrow. Only one new and shiny, but a great haul overall, I believe. Ahh, the joy of anticipation! :P

It does look like a Honeywell Micro Switch keyboard, but the exposed switch looks more like a Cherry M7 to me.

Didn't even notice the bare switch, but the PCB reminded me of vintage Maxi Switch.

Recent keyboard purchases for me are:

Matias Tactile Pro 4: I use it in Windows so the default keyboard layout would be a bit of a pain, but I've used Autohotkey to remap it into something far more convenient. Nice keyboard overall, very loud and clicky, and quite fascinating to use a currently produced version of Alps switches. The full retail price would be a bit much to pay for it in my opinion, but I was pretty happy with the second hand price I paid.

Razer Ornata Chroma: OK so this is probably sacrilege to mention here, but I've really wanted one of these for a while now. I was quite fascinated by the idea of the rubber dome keys with an additional tactile click, and having had a brief try of them in a shop I thought they seemed rather good. The keyfeel is rather unusual and I do like it quite a lot. It's actually rather reminiscent of space invader switches because of the cushioned feel and the click on the down and upstrokes of the keys. I quite like the very plain design of the keyboard too - so many of the modern gaming keyboards have really hideously over the top case designs and stupid fonts on the keys. Again, I think the brand new price for one of these is totally ridiculous but the second hand price I paid was fairly reasonable, and pretty much a steal compared to some of the other prices they sell for on eBay.

Hey. Paid 450€ for the lot, shipped. Was disappointed in some of the boards:
  • old case Acer has Acer, not ALPS switches - should have researched better beforehand
Chicony has Futaba clicky, of which I have a box full already
Entec turned out to be some spring over slider rather than ALPS - again, should have checked
On the plus side,
  • the three Model Fs are in pretty good condition and I'd been longing to own a Battleship
the one Bull has nice vintage blacks (Wyse made with the yellow legend cursor keys, sadly thin caps, though)
plenty of vintage blacks from 2x Commodore and 3x G80-1000HAD
it included one G81 with SAD caps
the NCR Cherry board is bliss
The caseless board is indeed Cherry M7. If anyone wants it, feel free to PM. I'll be selling most of the other stuff as well, I guess.

Would anyone know how to convert that very yellowed Epson board (Fujitsu leaf spring)?

Cheers!

This. This here. I once had a wired version of that iTouch keyboard. I typed, bashed, gamed, programmed and more with it for about 15 years before it died thanks to an spilled energy drink. I recently kept thinking about it, it even made a short cameo in a dream (I shitte thee notte!!) and so I looked for it. I scored the set on eBay for 5 euro and its in pretty nice state, considering its over 17 years old (14-feb-2001 reads at the back). Some sides of the key-caps have yellowed, but the rest looks much better.

Of course getting it to work on Windows 10 is a chore (as it is on Ubuntu), the wireless mouse works but the keyboard doesn't. I got the mouse to work by pressing the connect button but there is no such button on the keyboard. I suppose no one got an idea how to make this thing work again? Seriously, for a rubber dome it doesn't type that bad. I may have been better off hunting down a wired one. Wireless is pure trouble.

The mouse has an old ball, would there be a way to convert it to optical? Its ergonomical shape is really good, much better than the recent Logitech mouses I got.

Edit;
Got the keyboard to work. I was about to screw it open (it has eight of those at the back, btw) when I finally spotted the connect button at the side, near the black part of the keyboard. And yes, I'm typing on it now. It's clearly a rubber dome, but hardly as bad as some other rubberies I know.

I can recall those weren't exactly cheap. The pricetag of 219,00 is still on the box (right upper corner) but whether that is German mark or euro I can't tell.

What are those keycaps? I've been thinking about getting some spherical keycaps for a while but they all seem so expensive, and it's even harder and more expensive to get them in UK layout.

Could you share a which switches/model names these keyboards have for documentation purposes? If it's an unusual switch I would also appreciate a picture of it.

Not a super high quality image but I got this in yesterday. Varmilo VA87MR with Cherry MX Gray (linear) and white LEDs. Swapped out the case with my aluminum Titanium Gray one and then put swapped the keycaps with my Grass Valley VPE editing keycaps and black blanks.
