So, ive been using the 35g PLUM for a couple of weeks now and ive gotta say. Best keyboard yet! Feels like typing in pure butter. <3 This is coming from a compac rubber dome - happy hacker - filco brown switch and a lifetime of thinkpad use.

The sound is certainly inconsistent, but overall quality and feel is pretty good. If youre used to the average cherry board i would say its about on par. The "ping" or upstroke rattle some have mentioned seems to be settling over time. Havent opened it up yet, but sounds abit like some of the springs are loosing contact on the upstroke and shake alittle. Doesnt bother me that much and could probably be remedied with some lube or something.

Sound is one thing, typing feel is another, my god its good. Its that feeling of typing on the happy hacker for the first time, you just wanna keep on Typing. : ] Except, its 35g.. Floating on Butter.

For the price its really a nobrainer for me atleast. Pics coming after caps arrive!

I started on Cherry MX Brown but the tactility was too subtle for me, so I changed to Cherry MX Clears (too stiff) and finally 65g ergo clears (similar to 65g zealio). Where do you think this falls in terms of tactility?

Switching back to my cherry browns, they feel Real heavy.. : E
So, superlight on the force, but you gotta remember, most of the force on a toprestyle switch is at the top of the stroke, so it actually feels More tactile than the browns, with Less force.. Wich feel very good too me.

Do you mean "happy hacking" or the HHKB??

I would jump on this board again 100% without hesitation if there is a split backspace option (for my SunType-5c / HHKB layout dedication) and a good solution for the non-standard 5.5u spacebar (either have manufacturers provide them or change it to 6.25u like that in Keycool84).

35g is the smooth Gateron clears in the Topre (clone) world. I also like them.

? they are the same thing? : ] i mean hhkb..

Yeah, now with the ibm keycaps drop.. Im thinking about an iso realforce purchase.. But im afraid they will be to heavy! -_______- On the other hand, if i have to change to mx stems.. Maybe i throw in a 30g rubber mat at the sametime?! : O

I would give this a go but I'd like a black case with black side printed POM.

I like the keycap scheme a lot :). It's really nice to see all the different 75%s, thanks for the review!

i just finished re-lubing my FC660C with hyperspheres and ohh man it feels awesome.. i am surprised reading how good this board is according to you ..pleasantly surprised for sure !!
Who would be against having more capacitive options out there.. ;)

How does this compare to something from Royal Kludge ??
The last time i looked at a different brand for capacitive switches other then Topre boards and Leopold ..
Was the CM NovaTouch but the stabs felt so awful that i decided not to buy it something i regret seeing all the hype hahaha..regret is a big word hahaha..

BTW the Royal Kludge RC930 seems to be programmable..is this ?
