Re: Help with FKF456K-104?

Turn off the computer. Put the switch into a different setting. Power back on. Try that till you've exhausted all options. (The powering off is because PS/2 is * not * hot-swappable. Re: Help with FKF456K-104?

Sorry, I'm an idiot. I didn't mean to say USB. It seems to be a 5 pin din connector and I'm using a ps2 adapter. There is no USB involved lol. The Monterey/Mtek K104 does not have internal USB support. So you'll need an active converter rather than just a pin adapter. I'd recommend a Soarers. I'm ty...

Help with FKF456K-104?

I recently acquired one of these keyboards in pretty good shape, it has switch with A X and S mode. I assume I want to keep it in A mode. However, I am using an adapter to plug it into a USB port and it doesn't appear to be working. Any advice?

Dear all, I finally received today the steel plate from our friends at lasergist, and unfortunately there was some damage which probably occurred in the mailstream. As you can see despite the potato quality of this picture, the plate is quite warped. IMG_20171129_152806.jpg Is there a way that I ca...

The tada68 kit that comes with really nice dyesub cherry profile keycaps, an option for an aluminum case, and a very useful yet compact layout.

Super popular and very affordable board that has probably gotten many people into DIY keyboard projects.

Sorry, brainfart. I mean usable PINS, not keys. I think there was discussion in the thread about the number of pins, but can't find it. So the power for all of them would come from the VCC, and all the inputs would be, if its 14 inputs, up to 14 squared which is 196 keys? that doesnt make sense to ...

Another quick question if you know the answer, since this has about 18 usable pins, from my basic grasp, does that mean a keyboard matrix could use 9*9=81 possible inputs/keys, or does that mean it would be able to accept 18*18=alot of possible keys.

Cheaper Teensy Alternative?

I recently cut apart an AT101W in order to make a 61 key keyboard, but I was wondering if this
