Re: [BERLIN] Ascaii's collection

This is the stuff of nightmares. It's not that bad, sure was nice not lugging a computer around with me around the world. And now I'm used to doing everything on my phone, and that's gotten a lot easier than when I started on my Sony Ericsson Xperia active. So... what typewriter do you have? :P I w...

Re: [BERLIN] Ascaii's collection

Nice to see a familiar face!

Tempted to finally pick up a G80-1800 but I haven't even used my computer for nearly 7 years new (jeez time flies 😬) so it's hard to justify 🙃

Looks like Ascaii hasn't been on in ages. He was a good dude. He was cutting down when he was still here so I'm not surprised he left entirely.

Real life and family is more important than keyboards after all.

I myself stopped coming around since I haven't had a computer for over 4 years now

Best of both worlds?

From the pictures it looks like it could at least be an interesting switch, if not even a good one.

Considering it has DS cherry caps it is most likely MY (or MX).

It is a printed resistor, printed directly on the membrane. download.microsoft.com/download/D/8/5/D85E2240-8688-4D49-BFD3-763E61A7D90E/AntiGhostingBrochure.pdf I don't know the patent number, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else here knew it. EDIT: I think I found them: https://www.google.com...

It is possible to have diodes in the membrane, you'd just have to license it from Microsoft. They use it in their sidewinder keyboards.

Silitek/LiteOn keyboard, branded Win under Silitek and LiteOn under LiteOn. First made in Taiwan then later in Malaysia (both those branded Win and LiteOn have been made in Malaysia) (I should probably mention that most of this is only correct when talking about the BIGASS-ANSI version, SK-00A2-1U) ...
