Re: latte/coffee solutions

Hey guys... so my girlfriend is getting down with the lifestyle. Every morning she gets up and has some coffee with creamer and sugar. For a tiny girl, this amounts to a huge bunch of carbs and calories in the morning. How can she have delicious coffee without all that sugar and creamer? Why are yo...

Re: Alps Appreciation

Lucky for you redmaus just found a bunch. I think he was going to be selling them at around $150 per 5140 (don't quote me on that through). Assuming you wanted to replace the switches, that is.

Re: Alps Appreciation

I just realized these are dampened creams and not actual SKCM creams =(

That really does suck.

edit: actually I can't really tell. What are they? I mean if they are legit SKCM creams I'd say you got a better deal than if they were browns. If they are dampened then yeah that's unfortunate.

There have been a few found on taobao before - but I don't think any has been officially documented. e3eves is currently selling some creams - though they might have been sold by now

The last set of amber alps sold on mm for around $600. I bet it’s above that now given none have been spotted in a very long time.

What would a kishsaver go for
A lot. I think easily more than $1,000 for a good condition OG one would be my guess in the current market. What will be interesting to see is if the value of them drops off after the ellipse f62/f77 project orders are fulfilled.

Re: IBM Model F 122 "restored" and bolt-modded

I have actually purged myself of all model Fs =( Sold them off to fund other alps projects or buy other alps boards. Admittedly, I do really miss them (the f122 in particular) but when I had them I always found myself wanting to use an alps keyboard after a few days of using cap. BS. I've been slowl...

Added loose SKCL green alps. Also fixed the RF 84 image gallery - the pics had shown the case with the 89u WKL 10th-anniversary case - but pictures now correctly show it using a white 89u with the second generation RF logo.

because it uses shitcony caps, which stretch stems. Same with Montery boards. That's actually fixable. Take some pliers and put some cloth/paper towel around them (so that the metal tips don't scuff up the stem) and close the "gap" with the pliers by pushing them closer together. Don't press too ha...
