After a quick play here's what I thought of them - Cherry's Linear Red - Very light smooth can see why these are popular for gaming keyboards. Black - Similar to Red but needs more force. The bag arrived today and will try try them out over the next few days then pass them on to mrog, im in Glasgow so will be a bit of a walk for you mrog :)

You could try getting a flux pen and adding some flux to the bit you want to desolder and combine that with some desolder braid.

Im new here and was thinking of getting a mechanical keyboard, the try bag would be ideal to test the switches before buying as the keyboards are pricey, I would like to join the Euro queue but as im new here I understand if it isn't possible yet.
