Re: The Heresy

A bit of an unrelated chiming in... Model M and HHKB are the pinnacles of keyboards for me, yet I can type on neither of them. The best layout for me is unfortunately a 40%... I prefer lighter switches too, so no stock MX Clears or MX blacks for me...

Interested to see how it compares with the "original". And silent tactile sounds interesting.

The HHKB's tactility starts right at the top of the switch, if it has hypersphere rings it's possible that they have reduced the tactility and the overall weight of the switch due to the fact the domes will be partially depressed. I know my Novatouch feels a lot lighter and less tactile after insta...

HHKB feel variation

So I recently bought a used HHKB from Yahoo aucs. It's a A0 made in 2008, with a Pro2 case. Anyway, today I met up with scottc and we compared our HHKBs. His was a hypersphere-d A0 Pro1, from 2005. I was surprised that the domes felt way lighter than mine. Mine feels so stiff I wondered if they are ...

Re: Post your food pictures

I suppose this is the food picture thread for just posting pictures, not explaining how to make it. Anybody here ever try kimchee gigae (kimchee stew - no meat), shigumchee (spinach with sesame oil), koongnamel (sprouts with sesame oil) and chicken breast with gochujung (hot bean paste)? There's st...

Yes Johan Liebert....I predicted as much. Monster is the best anime ever! But I digress. It really is a masterpiece nothing quite like it. It's up there with with AKIRA, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell for sure. Mr. Dull, an anime fan! What a revelation! My favourite anime is Code Geass. I've seen...

Re: K-Type Skepticism

My rule of thumb. If you like MX Clears more than MX Browns, you'll like the Halo Clears. It has more of a feeling like an MX style switch with awesome tactility. Otherwise Halo True is for you. The Halo True has a gentle and smooth lead-in (due to lower preload) and higher final resistance to help...
