Re: Deskthority Awards 2019 ~ Phase 1: The nominations

I nominate RAMA (https://rama.works/) for creating great custom keyboards and making them available without unit limits.

I also nominate TGR for creating stunning high quality customs (https://www.instagram.com/yuktsi/) and being an overall wholesome guy.

3 Cherry sets but expensive ? 1 copy of Round5 ? XDA ? yup, OG Cherry for the win ! Already PM'd matt3o about the "Copy of Round5" - SA Oblivion's true colorway is actually this, while the render shown above is using a mixture of optional kits that were available in the same GB ;) https://i.imgur.c...

GMK Space Cadet ships out in January from Massdrop, I might have a copy in December, but even that would be too late for this years awards.

GMK Handarbeit is currently in Group Buy, so far from being in peoples hands.

Are you planning on adding a black on cream/cream on black set as well 7bit? And if not, is grey on cream/cream on grey still going to happen? I see it can't be ordered anymore. You can still order it: http://www.7bit.info/algol_next/index.html#icons It's just that the ALGOL main page was changed t...

a few posts above, 7bit has stated that he is off for about 1 more week. there is a manual element to the bot, so wait till he's back and then he should continue processing the requests.

Well of course the SP production lead time would only start once the order is placed.

Impossible to determine. They have to be manufactured first.
SP removed SA production estimates from their site, but it should be around 9ish months. Excludes shipping and sorting by 7bit.

Personally I'd love to see a kit using existing fun text keys that covers all 4 rows, this would be useful for 65% and 75% keyboards as they have a column of keys on the right side like this: https://i.imgur.com/VAmzyE1.jpg The kit could look something like this, using only keys that are already us...

I'd also like to share this render of a rounded font. It would need some work on the dual-legend keys such as the numbers row to have that look appropriate, but this was a test for the overall look/feel of it, nothing fine-tuned. Admittedly this would looks rather similar to SP SA, but personally I ...

Your 4-digit order number remains the same forever pretty much. It isn't really ever canceled, if anything 7bit removes the kits from your order. Just wire again with that number for reference and it'll be credited towards your account.

I think that's a flow mark rather than a scratch. It happens when plastic has started to cool down before filling out the entire mold, so it doesn't 'weld' together seamlessly.
