Re: [GB] DCS Alps White on Black (WoB) - Extras are live!
Sad that I missed this group buy but Bear Cables at least still has some extras. They are out of numpads though. Anyone have the numpad set I can buy?

[WTB US-CA] Datadesk Switchboard
Looking for a Datadesk Switchboard. I am aware there is one on eBay right now listed for $125 plus shipping. I'm hoping I can get a better price from the community.

Re: Has anyone ordered custom keycaps from Unicomp for the Model f or m?
Ooooh give me an excuse to post a pic of my SSK! Awww Yeeaaaah "Geekhack" escape key, "Panic" insert key, Vim keys, and RBG modifier keys are from Unicomp. Notice the difference between the lettering on the Vim keys and the others, and the difference between the size and spacing of the words on the ...

I am 99% sure that those are mislabeled cherry stemmed caps. The water mark on the photos is from KPRepublic and I cannor find those caps with Alps stems on their site.

Re: Fullsize alps PCB?
Filco at one point sold a full size 104 keyboard with Alps clones, although they haven't made that board for years so it is quite rare. There is also BlindAssassin's Northgate board as was mentioned earlier but you will need to source a Northgate plate and case to use it, as well as a teensy 2.0++ a...

I dub thee "Nexios"! Nexus sliders in Matias housings with respective springs and leaves. They are super tactile although the click leaves don't always click in them. Some of the nexus sliders are too big for some of the Matias top housings, the tolerance is really tight, but most fit well and the ...

I have seen dozens of M0116s and have never seen any with anything other than all oranges or all salmons (minus the lock switch). This is cool, looks like 7 grain cheerios.

Re: Alps Appreciation
That plate looks like it's for the XD60 v3 which supports alps. That pcb supports cherry pcb stabs, which you would have to use with this plate.

Re: Great/Interesting Finds
Scrolling through ebay this morning and found this mysterious gem . Some googling revealed that this is a keyboard for IBM PC clones made in Taiwan. One person found MX Black switches in it but it was from a beige colored keyboard. Maybe someone here is willing to take a chance on it for <$100USD sh...

Lot of 4 untested IBM SSK 2s (dome over membrane). Only $150, not bad if you like the format but don't mind the dome over membrane business.

As it should because no Alps Keyboard should have that abysmal junk on any keyboard. Very juvenile and extremely bad taste  . Even I prefer to use all AUTHENTIC key-caps that came with the keyboard, whether it's a Model-M or an OmniKey. Far better key-sets on them already without exchanging t...

Snagged this beauty on eBay just now. It's the keyboard for a Franklin PC-8000 from 1986. Couldn't find any info on it other than a mention on Geekhack from 9 years ago saying it has SKCL greens. I'll post to the wiki once it arrives, but for fun does anyone already have info on this thing? https://...
