Re: The mystery of DT's new owner - SOLVED
Interesting to see this pop back up… I’m under no NDA so here is what I offered before. I’d be happy to pick up Deskthority for a nominal amount with the intentions of keeping the site alive and going as outlined in the discussion chain from a couple of years ago with Webwit. Sadly I don’t think the...

Re: Recreating the Lisp keyboard (10 years later)
After seeing this I couldn’t help but grab one of the kits off your site. The attention to detail, the level of workmanship - it demanded that I support you! Excited to see the finished project on my desk

Re: [WTB] [EU-UK] OG ISO doubleshots/Dyesubs
Just to confirm, and I should have said this in my bump earlier, that I have plenty of doubleshots now: my search is for the dyesub caps in UK ISO - usually code SAG

No deal made with Photekq yet (he is taking a break for a bit for IRL stuff) so still on the lookout. Plus I'd be even happier to find two sets!!

[WTB] [EU-UK] OG ISO Dyesubs
As per title - looking for OG dyesubs that will fit ISO layout. Prefer ISO UK but any ISO sets are fine.

I freaking LOVE this board, and as someone who has done a whole bunch of fab and development I am in awe of this work too. I'm an old UNIX graybeard who remembers when half of these modifiers were still in common use on X11 terminals :-) The craftsmanship here is clear, as well as both the dedicati...

The whole idea of a Hyper 7 board is rather old, here are two old builds, one by 7bit himself: The Hyper 7 by Jae is a good evolution of this idea and a nice project. But imo it can't compete with the possibilities and dedication of the common sense controller. Your numpad/macropad looks really nic...

Chuckdee - as others have said, the caps for sale on Originative (whether marked as HiPro or not) are Signature Plastics SA keycaps in a full sculpted profile. HiPro itself refers to Topre High profile keycaps as others have alluded to. Now where I think the distinction lies, is in your previous use...

I just picked up a Hyper7 PCB (it claims to be 4/10). After trying to map a picture of a board to the leftovers on the wiki, I'm skeptical that I'll find a full set for it, so that's something to think about. But I'm looking forward to designing and cutting a case. Is this the PCB off AndyTC on red...

What's the total length? Very nice work. Holly bologna! Mad respect. The inner Vim user in me may say that there are a few too many modifiers though. https://i.imgur.com/1nRp5UO.jpg So after seeing the H7 kit of keycaps for sale last summer, I bought them off 7Bit with no intention other than to use them to look pretty, however, after a chat with some other friends from the UK, we actually decided to give making this a go.... Yiancar was our PCB...

So the trend is shifting to keyboards that are usable in a zombie apocalypse again? I would hardly call the Hyper7 a trendsetter. After all, it's little more than vaporware at this point. Well, I might have a go once I get the caps. I've got as far as getting a PCB design mocked up and about to be ...
