How does the dye-sub process come along?
I wonder, if there was already done a complete keycap set and pictures can be shared :)

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Good news! Thanks for the update. In (very rough) timelines this is what is likely to happen?: Early June: All assembled keyboards will be loaded into a container and go from China on the travel to the US Mid-July: The assembled keyboards will arrive in US and released after normally a week End-July...

I'd love to see exactly the design you have in mind, but there are several hurdles that I encountered and halted my project. The items I broke the project down to, were: Switchboard rebuild with the exact same holes as you highlighted (relatively easy) Bottom Plate from cast Aluminium with mold (exp...

Hopefully Ellipse will unravel the mystery of the keycap :) I looked at multiple 'U's and I am not convinced anymore the right is the new one. I have a late Model F that has a U as bold as the one on the right :) The differences are for one that the curves of the U in the picture seem not to match a...

Re: Yet another beamspring refurb (5251)

Beamspring switches have the most play of any switches. You can rotate keytops like 5 degrees when they sit. You can press a 7U beamspring spacebar about 90% of its length with no stabilizer bar. How can one minimize this play in the switches? Are there any known modifications to the keyboard to ac...

Everybody has a different taste. In my home alone the differences couldn't be bigger. My wife is hating my Beam- and Buckling Spring keyboards with a passion, as it is way too loud for her. Can you explain how you got the capacitive sensors calibrated? Was it difficult to do? How easy was it to use the software? I used the xwhatsit controller and the software. I'm using a model F XT at the office right now. I'm suprised how closely the powder matches the door, you did a great job color matching the original. In fairness - color adjustment is what it makes it appear as such. In real life the color is somewhat off. The door has much less yellow tint to it and looks gray next to it. I have ordered a plas...
