Re: F104+SSK+122+62+77+50+Ergo orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
The details on the ergodox model can be found here: https://www.modelfkeyboards.com/product/ortholinear-split-ergonomic-model-f-keyboard/ Unfortunately, it operates like two separate keyboards without a direct connection between the two halves. I would be very interested if someone has a plan on how...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
Would anyone be able to help with refactoring pandrew's Model F code for submission to the QMK project? I am hoping to have this expedited to simplify the process of changing the Model F layout. It is my understanding that QMK will not accept the code as it stands. If interested feel free to reply ...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
Great feedback darkcruix, XCore and depletedvespene! While the XT is the model for the project artwork, I am leaning towards the AT style "Groß ⇩" as the way to go. The standard HHKB ISO keys can be ordered by those who want to go with "Caps Lock" and/or "Ctrl" as well. Wise choice (but DO remember...

Yes, an easy way is to type this into Terminal: xcode-select --install

Re: Building TMK on Mac
The AVR Toolchain is on homebrew too (avr-gcc), no account needed. Homebrew wants you to have a current XCode so I never tried to build anything without it.

Re: Has anyone considered adding mouse support into something like the IRIS or Ergodox?
I use an Ergodox and I like both halves being firmly stuck to my desk, I feel that would be either a very annoying mouse with the rubber feet attached (also it's pretty large and clunky), or a very annoying keyboard if it slides smoothly.

Re: Recommendation (Tactile switches board)
If the tactility is not enough for you, check out the BKE domes. They are much more tactile than the stock domes, even too much so for some people.

Re: Topre 45g vs 45g Silenced
There should be no difference in tactility, the only difference is a ring around the slider that dampens the upstroke. The factory silenced models have a slightly longer slider to compensate for the presence of the ring so travel stays the same, other than that they are just about the same. If you w...

I have not tried it myself, but if you run QMK, apparently you can adjust actuation on the FC660C and FC980C: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tre ... nt-example

I understand that the HHKB style split right shift gives me a function button but can I double check if the split backspace means a backspace and a delete? Split backspace means where the standard ansi layout has backspace, you get two 1u keys instead. The HHKB layout has \| on one and `~ on the ot...
