The bolts and spacer idea is pretty neat. It solves one problem with the acrylic keyboard designs. Do you glue the spacer in the middle plate? Do you use a hexagonal spacer? I don't use glue in spacer. Yes, I'm using hex spacer to prevent spinning. The exception is the middle 2 holes, the acrylic c...

* Can you go into specifics why the trackpoint doesn't work over Bluetooth and how you intend to make it work? * What is the power usage with the LEDs on? Trackpoint doesn't work over Bluetooth because the required code simply hasn't been written yet. The code should have been straightforward, but ...

Promethium51 Keyboard Build Log

Hi fellow Deskthorian! Let me share my build log of my keyboard, dubbed Promethium51. Project page: https://promethium.keyboard.id https://photos.smugmug.com/Mechanical-Keyboard/Promethium-Keyboard/n-FDnPVn/Build-Log/i-xDdNdkW/5/dadba732/L/marketing-L.jpg Those are my design goals. Now I must say no...

This is way too soon than what I expected. Is it too late for me to get a say on this? I'd love to use this on my Planck, and to have minimal Planck support, simply add a few blanks: 1 R2, 1 R3, and 4 R4s. Maybe even change the 4 R4 blanks to a colored arrow set, and at the same time provide an opti...

Hi! First time here, just wanted to check if everything is okay with my invoice #1141. I have already made the payment last weekend, but haven't received an updated invoice, WASSUP-ing the bot still shows me that I need to make the payment. Thank you very much for any input :) Same here. but the bo...

FWIW, that Ergodox kit is a perfect substitute for blank Planck and Preonic kit in grid version. Hint: blank SA R2 = blank SA R4.

To zslane: add a single 2u spacebar, then it will be fully compatible with all version of Planck & Preonic.

My suggestions: Aim for 3 months for delivery, 6 months max. Stick with fewer, much fewer color variations. Save the others for the next rounds. Stick with what you always had and rarely available on other GBs: keycaps for oddball custom layouts, blanks for everywhere on the keyboard, alt layouts, ...

eddible wrote: Is R3 escape for a Planck/Preonic?
If anyone wants an R3 Esc, then it is probably for capslock position. Planck/Preonic need a lot more than that.

The suggested Esc/Ctrl combo looks like an absolute gorgeous idea, though. Time to code that into my firmware.

Can't seem to find that "L" key anywhere. What game are you playing now, 7bit? :D I'm unsure if it is possible to make that legend. But I might try ... What about A-Z keys with funny symbols like this one on them? Now that you mentioned it, a keyboard filled with alpha-emoji keycaps together...

I'm thinking split right shift should be standard now (U175 + U100). Split spacebar options should also be available, VE.A style (U275 + U200 + U100) and minivan style (U200).

7bit, it looks like the bot is missing one of my payment. It told me I'm $12.48 short, I already paid that amount on Feb 22. I already asked mashby and he told me to ask you. I also PMed you several weeks ago. Please make the bot behave. Thanks.

They first produce everything with GD/BFP/RDE and later the rest. However, originally I've been told they would start production in January, then February, now it seems to be March. That's a bummer. 7bit, is it still possible to do some last minute shuffling? It appears I can place an order (I just ordered a ROUND3/MODIFIER), but cannot remove one (can't remove ROUND3/FN). I also want to change ROUND3/STANDARD to ROUND3/STANDARD125. Is this still possible?
