These kinds . One that mutes the headset entirely by shunting it when the dial is pulled back, and the other that flashes the hook switch off and on when returning.

I'm really enjoying these PBT's I picked up. I really like the rounded bowl shaped type keycaps a bit more than the traditional shape now.

That's better. Still could use some deep ABS caps to really make it sing. *Sigh* I'm so over this. Got the keys, they sound good, but some keys just won't stay on the stems of the keyswitches. At least this is easier to fix than keys that are rubbing apart, but I'm so over needing to fix "new" things from China.

The WASD ABS caps are rather thin, the PBT's arriving are thick, so it might be interesting to see. I probably should try the o-rings a second time around, with the PBT's and see if perhaps it feels better. I'll do some keys with and without first and see which feels and sounds better by trying them.

So as many have pointed out, WASD keyboard's ABS keycaps just suck. The keyboard firmware even sucks if you have the function key enabled (disabling it actually fixes any and all issues, go figure). It's REALLY old. It's a woodgrain I think Panasonic, with VFD display. It's particular "sweeping" type sound is the only thing that actually works at waking me up. Also it's freakin loud.

The dock isn't powered but it does have a PD input, not sure how that works with the work laptops charger though because the Surface Laptop 4 also supports PD charging and the dock does forward it to the laptop while taking 15 watts for itself.

Unfortunately I can't update the firmware on the work laptop or the dock. While I could update the dock with my own PC, I don't have a PC with a USB-C port.
