Cheers for posting your work. I've got one in the mail on its way to me as we speak and this is going to be invaluable as I work on restoring and converting it.

I recently got some older keyboards (M0116, Monterey KB108) and I really like the switches, but I just hate the layout. I know I can use converters or software to remap the keys but I also can't get over how much I like smaller layouts like hhkb or planck. I want to harvest the switches for a proje...

off-topic: I never got round to learning Python: I've often thought I should, or maybe Ruby, Python is very much worth learning as a language for quick prototyping. It's trivial to learn - I was able to read and fully grok the most complex python project available at the time (twisted) within 48 hou...

There are flat coils with usb-c and -micro adapters going for a couple bucks retail in the Middle Kingdom. My guess is any bog-standard charge controller would work with them. The benefit would be being able to position them anywhere, flat against the case.

Another one I'm curious about, it's a Miniterm 1203s (late 70s) dumb terminal with dot matrix readout.

Any ideas on what the switches are in this one? Never seen anything like them before.. looks like RD FF of some sort Probably bad form answering my own question, but here goes anyway. The FCC id of D7P6QV0001 that I found on the same listing points to Oak. The switches look very much like the switc...

Hi guys, the other day I saw my coworkers rollermouse and immediately fell in love with the idea. I would really like a pointing device like this; where you don’t have to take your hands off the keyboard. One of the things that I do not like about the rollermouse is the size. My work keyboard is a ...

I haven't tried the Red yet, primarily because I like the thinner, enclosed Pro/Pro2/Pro3 style roller, but none of these designs is suitable for gaming that requires quick, precise mousing. I've never had cursor drift. I did, however, have massive issues with sensitivity and initial friction. On ev...
