Re: De-Lurk Yourself

This post (or something similar) should be on the front page, or somehow pinned in the Spy or Board, so that it would always be visible when one visits the forum to encourage people to de-lurk ;) Great idea :)

Cherry G80-3000 HGD

Decided to create this post in order to have a reference for the Cherry database and to check if anyone might know anything about this particular boards article number. This board originated from one of Wodans recycler hauls, and he was kind enough to sell it to me as my first Cherry board, so a tha...

@ISO_Returns
Thanks for making this GB happen and for all the work you've put into to it :) I'm in for a BoW kit myself and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully BoW reaches MOQ :)

Re: HUGE Cherry keyboard database

Anyone know what the "G" might stand for in this case? this question is what started it all, for me at least, and with all of these keyboards put in the same place, I thought I would be able to tell ... but yet I still don't know what they mean :( If you want to document it, I'll add you to the spr...

Hi, You've all done some really awesome work with this database. Hopefully I can contribute with something. I happen to have a G80-3000 H G D, and I didn't find that particular model when I browsed through the spreadsheet. I might have missed it though. Anyone know what the "G" might stand for in th...

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!

Simple, elegant, my MX endgame. I love it. Simply beautiful :) As an customs uninitiated may I ask what board this is? KMAC? Also, are the keycaps Ansi dyesubs? Does vintage clears have any other significant difference to modern clears, except of being a lot smoother? How is the tactility, is it ab...

Re: Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition

Inspired by this review of the factory silenced R2 I decided to pull the plug on a silenced Realforce. I however finally landed on the 87UW(S?) or "Low noise" version. Mainly because I personally like the old case design more, but I was also curious about the variable weighting. I must say I was ver...

I use boards with both ISO and ANSI-layout, but I exclusively type using the Swedish\Finnish-language setting on my computer. If I could choose, and there where enough options available, I would exclusively use boards with ISO and Swe\Fin layout.

Re: Alps ultrasonic cleaning

Nicely written summery and guide on the cleaning process of that awesome board :) I bet Salmon Alps are really pleasant to use and even better when one goes that extra step of putting them thru a ultrasonic cleaning. I've also run into the same "finding enough time problem" as you. A few months back...

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!

Testing out the concept of a leftside numpad, a simple one didn't suffice (will do a post on it). so I finally did what I wanted to do when I first got the M50 and installed it as leftside numpad PLUS extras. Still a work in progress, but I'm liking this setup so far (bezel excess notwithstanding)....

Re: Recommendation (Tactile switches board)

Are there custom keycaps for the Realforce 87U that you'd recommed? Readily available custom aftermarket keysets and keyset for Topre in general are unfortunately kinda scarce. The only one I can think of is the Kbdfans 9009 set. Don't know anything about the quality of the set though. I use 88U 45...

Of course, my reasoning is somewhat weakened by people who hit space bars with palm  No worries! They are covered by the new, exciting, Palmer™ keyboard. Re: Tell me about your experience with dome boards

Any particular Keytronic boards you guys could recommend? The ErgoForce really stood out for me. All their other RD boards that I tried were very mediocre. It is the best one to buy. It has variable weighting; possibly the first key board that had it. It is always labelled "ErgoForce" and always fe...

Re: Tell me about your experience with dome boards

I have a Compaq board with NMB dome with slider and the keyfeel is quite solid imo with decent tactility and weighting. The board itself is quite hefty and sturdy for a rubber dome board. I use it at work from time to time. As a daily driver I use a 88U with 45g switches and it is the perfect switch...

That 5140 seems like a neat little Alps board, and in great condition as well. It would be awesome to be able to make a converter as well as perhaps a case for it so that it could be put to use :) Copter actually did that! 3 months?? Thats sound way to long. What model(s) was it, Pro2 or Type-S? Was it pre-order?
