Re: Alps Appreciation

Spent 5hs to clean the caps, plate, switches, and finished the conversion. My Panasonic skcc love. :P

Re: New to Deskthority, need help

I highly doubt that'll work. The chips are programable so only if you have flashed matchable firmware it could be saved with the original like controller, seems that's impossible to get the original firmware. But apparently there're other ways to make it to hook up to modern pc. I'm definitely no ex...

Re: TMK keyboard firmware collection

You can't run a MACRO repeatedly in current implementation at least. This will be what you can do for similar behaviour. return (record->event.pressed ? MACRO(T(P0), D(P0), END ) : MACRO(U(P0), END)); I have replaced code block with this one, not exact what I want but pretty enough. Appreciated alo...

Well, I still remember lots of bigfoots sold at $75 left or right each on Black Friday like two years ago, we can't go back, right?

Re: TMK keyboard firmware collection

Hey, me again. I have added the P00 thru using the Macro feature. const macro_t *action_get_macro(keyrecord_t *record, uint8_t id, uint8_t opt) { switch (id) { case P00: return (record->event.pressed ? MACRO(T(P0), T(P0), END ) : MACRO_NONE ); } return MACRO_NONE; } But now I face another question: ...

Re: Consul 262.3 keyboard with Hall Effect switches

I wouldn't bother with a custom pcb. From other threads any solder rework done tends to fry the hall effect sensors. but i'm sure a controller replacement would be the easiest route. Yep, it's risky to remove the sensors off but that's inevitable seems. Probably jumpers the switches to fabricate ma...

Consul 262.3 keyboard with Hall Effect switches

For some reason I'm trying to convert this hall effect kb to USB but I failed, good side is I dont feel sad at all. 1.jpg 2.jpg According to my digging, the switches, or specifically the sensors made by Tesla from Czech Republic during 90s, are pretty friendly. There're two points we can call, the f...

My best bet would be SMK Discrete Dome or Alps Integrated Dome.
Not a good price in such case.
