Ametek Traxsys TrackBall 50mm: opinion?

The ps/2 version of the Ametek Traxsys TrackBall looks like this one, which is USB. The page says other protocols are available since it's defined "50mm industrial device". bought new about a decade ago, is completely solid I bought a PowerMac-G4 in 2004, a second-hand machine used during a show-room, so a bit scratched and damaged on the plastic, but I don't care about this. Re: my opinion on Apple Wireless keyboard

I't's sad to hear that Apple is slipping in the quality department Well, let's also talk about laptops. My brother bought a maxed-out full spec MacBook/Pro in 2015. He used it with care, but since he is a mechanical engineer, he needed to run a couple of programs for calculating FEM. FEM is heavy c...

By the way, Apple has made specific Windows drivers for it. I'm not sure if the Fn key works without it. Windows XP found a Bluetooth device and asked for completing the PIN verification (please type these 5 numbers on the keyboard and press enter). The arrow keys were not working, until they got r...

Too scratchy switches and trackball for my taste. found this video that shows what you mean with "scratchy". The dude in the video says the CHERRY G84-4100 can be better if you lube the switches, and he shows the difference, with and without lube. p.s. The G84-4100 is listed here at 56 Euro shipped...

Re: opinions on Cherry G84-4400

Thanks, guys. My friend was considering buying a new keyboard from Amazon, but since it's not worth with the money it costs, well ... there is a G84 for 35 euro in the UK, second hand + 15 S/H, and this price *might* be acceptable considering that he needs a very small PS/2 keyboard with a built-in ...

(%x)KRO vs True *KRO, quality parameter

KRO stands for key roll over , and it normally goes after a number, e.g. 2KRO means 2 key rollover , and a keyboard has " 2 key rollover " *if and only if* it can support 2 keys pressed at the same time no matter when it happens and which keys (META? non-META?) they are. I have read that most rubbe...

opinions on Cherry G84-4400

I like the Cherry G84-4400PBGB-0: it comes with 83 keys, US layout, built-in trackball with 2 buttons, and PS/2 protocol. I'd also like to hear some feedback, and even about the built-in trackball.

thanks :D

wtb: Itac Mouse-Trak, white, PS/2

So, since the RadioShack is bad, I need to look for a better trackball.
Thank God I haven't bought it yet (thanks guys for the warning and hints).

I need three buttons, and I need to operate on a 1024x768 screen
B-5XXMP GPNB-5XXMP looks the right model to look at.
