Re: [SG] WTB A Filco Skeleton(FKB-97S) or Macally MK96

Thanks for the photo, but I was actually looking for the transparent variant. Sorry for not specifying it in the post title. Still interested though, how much do you want for it by the way?

Re: Smooth ALPS

Hey, I know it’s 2 years necro but I want more information. I am not a native English speaker and I have read many posts/forum about lubing but I fear to miss interpret and inverse some statement :p Actually, I have a keyboard with white dampened alps linearized. I have removed the leaf for that. I...

Posted a Video: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/cbqpui/alps_lubing_experiment_details_in_comments/ on Reddit about my experience lubing cream damped switches with some bike chain dry lube. TL;DR Switch used is linearised damped cream. First switch is unlubed, second switch is l...

Re: Need help choosing a new mechanical keyboard

Also, I see that your main mouse is the g502, do you mind sharing about it, as I really like the button placement that it has, but was slightly put off by how some people are complaining about it being rather heavy. What do you think about it? The g502 is my main mouse as well. Bought it exclusivel...

Re: Need help choosing a new mechanical keyboard

Personally, if I were you, I'd head down to the nearest large electronics store, as they often will have keyboards that you can try out. After deciding the type of switch you like, I recommend that you get a board like the e-element z77/z88 (or any of those variants) on aliexpress with the switches ...

Are those the taihao white and black alps compatible keycaps? What do you think of them? I was thinking of getting those for a tkl I am building.

Re: Omron75, the year of B3G-S omrons

Sweet build! Was wondering about why the cut-out enter key? Was it due to clearance? I'm pretty new here, so do pardon me if the question I asked is common knowledge around these parts.

Edit: Also, what was that IBM badged board you had in the inspirations?

If you don't mind using outemu black switches, you could consider these. They are extremely cheap at 10 for around 1 usd. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-5-10pcs-Edition-Mechanical-Keyboard-Black-Switch-Gaming-Keyboards-For-Tablet-Desktop-Sticker-Keyboard-Translucent/33000204222.html?spm=a2g0s.893...

The Tai-Hao sets only come with one type of Caps Lock; there are no alt keycaps in the sets. Tai-Hao do sell loose stepped Caps Lock ones, but only black ones from what I remember. There are five sets off the top of my head; Dolch red, Dolch brown, black (don't think you can get those anymore), Mia...

I would say the best thing is to see iif anyone is going to be selling nexus sliders as they are alps sliders with mx stems so the keycaps will fit but maintaining teh feel of the alps I believe the nexus sliders do not support the dampening pads like the sliders in the cream damped, so you may hav...
