Do you have the STLs for that?

enjoy. alps stabs fit and switches snap in quite well.

be gentle on the plate; it can be fragile.

still working on the top case design but it should fit ok-ish right now.

Re: Alps Appreciation

further down the rabbit hole we go: alps-compatible, bottom-mount dactyl plate. everything snaps in wonderfully. yes, even the alps stabilizers. i was lucky enough to find out about my local library's 3D printers, and so here we are :). https://i.imgur.com/scxagfl.png https://i.imgur.com/HxGWLvb.png...

[WTB] Any Good-condition SKCM Brown Alps Keyboard or Loose Switches

Hello,

I'm looking to buy any good-condition SKCM Brown ALPS keyboard or loose switches.
  • IBM PC Convertible
  • Various Texas Instruments Keyboards
  • Certain Magnavox Videowriters
  • etc.
I'm located in the U.S., but I can entertain offers worldwide.

Thank you!

Re: Your Most Reliable / Least Reliable Keyboards?

most reliable: OG Ergodox. Built by /u/profet23 in 2016, I've used it as a daily driver ever since. I desoldered it to swap in Zilents v2 62g switches and it simply hasn't skipped a beat. least reliable: my 2012-era iPad's Bluetooth keyboard case, with its keycaps that snap off for seemingly no reas...

Re: Alps Appreciation

So, a couple of weeks ago, I took a chance on an Orange ALPS-equipped M0116. It had a chipped-out corner on its case, but it only cost me $65 USD including shipping. The board is dusty but the switches feel excellent, even before cleaning. Though oranges are difficult to compare to other switches, t...
