Re: VintKeys Stock Update

Question: Are there any files available which may be used to 3d print my own openers? Sorry if that seems like I'm undercutting you here, and to an extent, yeah, I am, but for my own use, since I'd want both and since they look 3d printed (?) I don't think I could pay as much as you are asking for ...

Re: Shit, I fell for it

You should cancel mate, this was andj00's full intention from the start. It was his full intention to bait someone into making this error, and it has worked, he's already had to face people cancelling purchases on his Apple IIc multiple times for the same reason. Mistake purchases (which is what thi...

do not consider andj00 a part of this community anymore, he's purely only concerned with himself and his profit, 99% of his posts here were just him selling items and/or being an arsehole when people called him out whilst it was a silly mistake to fall into his trap, it was a mistake nonetheless and...

Re: Cherry G80-1501 HCD with MX Clear?

Yes those Desko 1501 are often clears, sometimes even browns, I very much doubt the seller has tampered with it. Be aware, although they're old 1000 style boards they're actually manufactured a lot more recently than you might think, early 2000's even.

First and foremost @photekq has given you some very valuable feedback imo please listen to him. Ryan I am seeing a lot of Red Flags here mate. just a completely clueless guy who's trying to rip off his fellow Portuguese, asking for a used 5000HAMPO about 850€ which was bought for 9€ lol. Just a heads up, these don't work with any converters. You'll need to replace the controller.
Yeah I added that in an edit on the original post earlier today.

Bump, as well how much are you selling it for or do you prefer to message about it so we can make an offer?
Thanks for the bump, feel free to shoot me an offer in pm's for now, I may decide on a price to put up soon when I've figured one out.

[UK] WTS IBM 4890 "F127" keyboard

SOLD For sale is a Model F127 keyboard, less common than an F122 and somewhat more resembling a HHKB in its layout, the F127 was designed to accompany the IBM 4980 terminal. https://i.imgur.com/kYA3ysz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/m2hpRIG.jpg https://i.imgur.com/GDuy4sQ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/BPp5jF6.j...

Re: Price check on my vintage keyboard

Thanks for your interest! To be honest, I swapped the keys. In my language we usually use the QWERTZ layout and after cleaning the board, I popped them back in true to the layout Im using, but it looked wierd, so I switched it back few days after :D. Ah, a DE-ISO user I assume. I own a few German b...

Re: Price check on my vintage keyboard

I'd be very interested in buying that board from you if you decide so. As for a price check, I'll do some more research and consulting of fellow Cherry boys in the meantime, but as for now I'd give it a ballpark of 100+ (£ or €). By the way who swapped the Y and Z keys?

Re: Keyboard price checks

1) I think with the extra work put in you're looking at £80 to the right person, possibly more if it's a square silver badge. 2) I'd say about £20 for a Dell AT102W personally, but I see them average around £30 on eBay, ymmv. 3) What are the caps like, are they the thick blue doubleshot kind? If you...

Re: OG doubleshot 1,75 right shift - does it exist?

In answer to your query: Yes, if you want doubleshot ABS you need to find yourself an "H" code Cherry 1800 e.g. G80-1800HAG. In this example the H designates doubleshot ABS caps, if you want lasered PBT (thick for older, thin for newer) look for "L" designated boards. The doubleshot boards are usual...
