Nice find ! I guess you could say the French-Canadian layout is really more French-UK/US layout .. Canadian_French_text.svg.png The real French do it their very own way, as always : (Note how the numbers are shifted !) KB_France.svg.png It helps a bit that it's a IBM, the caps have the same profile,...

Agreed. Imagine having to work for the rest of your life on a ZX81... possibly even worse than typing on a smartphone. Maybe. It was worse than a smart-phone, at least you don't have to type in all the programs again every time your smart-phone crashes ! (Don't get me started on the horrors of usin...

Ooh, cool! Makes sense it would be something good, sensitive and linear. As far as I know they just sample at two points, but a fully tracked system comes to mind! Reminded me of this : prodikeys_dm.jpg Knowing Creative, the keyboard is probably just rubber-dome mush .. Maybe even both of them :( N...

Is there a difference? Trying to visualise how those switches function : valve.jpg Mullard_EL_34_output_valve.jpg In Danish the first one is called 'ventil', the second is called 'radio-rør'(tube,like in US-lingo). You won't believe how many times Danish Tv has told us the computers at Bletchley Pa...

Pure silver by that I mean there's no additional mix metal addition. Hallmark : 925 Sorry to be smart-alecky, but 925 means 925/1000, so its not pure (the 75/1000 should be copper). Is that an "Argentium Sterling silver alloy ", which wont get tamished like old silverware? Pure Silver would probabl...

Unfortunately, it's not how it...
