Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Since there's multiple versions, recently I remember someone new making a custom version, is there a preferred one or most up to date? (btw - looking at the manual, it sends you to bucklingspring.com for VIA stuff, but that website is not loading for me and seems to be gone.) edit: Side note - is th...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Months after receiving it I finally unboxed my F77, floss modded it and installed the keys. And it works! I am however getting characters not appearing in the right order if I type fast, sometimes. I vaguely remember this could be fixed by updating the firmware? (sorry, there's been so much discussi...

It looks great! Just to confirm the kit still requires keycaps and switches, correct?

The R3 is now available, btw. Just one colour choice of case, but ah well.

Re: The NCR-80 R3 and Desko-Black keycaps

Hi, is there a way to buy the R3 yet? I liked the NCR80, but would've liked a WK version better.
If that's what R3 is, I'd love to get one. (if it can do ISO layout)

I quite like the case as well, it's like an Ortek with an Omnikey styling almost.

Re: XT/AT/PS2/Terminal to USB Converter with NKRO

Apologies if this is not the right place to ask! I'm using a BTC dome with slider DIN kb through a Soarer's converter I bought off eBay (from an Italian guy I think, it seems to be a pro micro). It works just fine. This keyboard however has a BAE focus style layout and I wanna switch the backslash w...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

The case and layout look very much like a 1800 type Cherry board, but the stepped keys would point to something older which is interesting. (this look was also used by Qtronix for some of their Scorpius boards and a few other companies and rebrands, but none look like this.) The cable is pretty craz...

Re: supplier for alps compatible parts that ships to europe

Nobody stocks the dolch set anymore, the only possible way to get them would be second hand.
TH do occasionally release new sets, currently there's a groupbuy (? I think) for a white on black one.
You can also still find the blue and grey one with some resellers.

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

Got my keyboard today, more impressions when I install keys and try it out in the following days. Was sad to see a somewhat banana-like spacebar, here's hoping it works at least. Has anyone tried anything for strain relief for the cable? Since the hole is bigger than the cable's diameter, perhaps s...

Re: Niz plum 35g or 45g?

I really want a NiZ switch keyboard, but they're all in ANSI. :( No plans for ISO, I was told. (I even found another Korean brand with the same switches, in lovely 1800-like layout, but only ANSI as well.) I even found someone's custom PCB project for these switches and the first thing they said was...

Re: Stuff you just bought

Got a brother for my Portable PC III (I had the older model with AT layout), this time Lion Electronics branded ISO. Same oddly non-yellowing caps. The build seems a bit more solid, which might indicate less use? The switches are also pine white Alps, but they sound and feel totally different. Bind ...

Re: Alps Appreciation

Yeah, the portable PC feels lighter and smoother than a NOS Ortek with white Alps. (Itself looks like an Apple keyboard clone. And it still feels good, but stiffer.) The keycaps are like that only on this keyboard, that I know of. Could the ortek be one of the later ones? (Could this be the fabled ...
