The Logitech 900 is an expensive mouse, but I would 10/10 recommend. I bout it because I t has the perfect layout for me, and I never stopped using it because I fell in love. Also I have tested it with Ubuntu and it works there.

Help! Model F XT does output characters
I wired my model F XT to a teensy 2.0 running Soarer's software. I then tried bridging the contacts on the pcb with my fingers but nothing happened. By the way, I tried to figure out which was which by correlating the color of the wire with the position in the din plug and this immage http://www.kbdbabel.org/conn/kbd_connector_ibmpc.png, but it didn't work.
