Re: QMK Powered Equivalent to Soarer’s Converter?

Have you considered the Griffin iMate? You can usually pick them up pretty cheap used (around £100 plus shipping).

Re: Salmon vs Orange Alps

I have both, and I really like both. I'd say salmon are a touch heavier but there's not a huge amount in it. Re: SKCM orange, to lube or not?

Definitely boil them as Jack said. Depending on the condition of the switches you might find you don't need to wax the sliders as boiling seems to often reflow the factory lube (as opposed to ultrasonic cleaning which removes it). First someone was wrong on the internet. And now even Wikis aren't unimpeachably true? Christ on a shoogly stick…

Re: Seeking Soarer - evidence thread

It's not strawmanning. If esr had suggested a clean room approach from the get go, or switched to that approach this would be a very different thread.

Re: Seeking Soarer - evidence thread

However, for those of you who think tracking down Soarer would be some sort of ultimate crime, here is now a possible way forward that doesn't involve that. 1. Someone (call her Alice) verifies that compiling the Antonizoon source produces a hex blob that is a drop-in-replacement for Soarer's. Can'...
