Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards

I've been out of the loop, but a recent email woke me up to events. Is there still an intention to have a second/final round, or is this it? I've got my first order in from back in... 2016? but I was hoping to have that one in hand before committing to... additional models :D

Poll created... vote please. EDIT: I should also mention. For the custom keyboard box we have been talking about (the Premium option in the poll), we would OWN the die outright. So anything we do in the future would be about 1/3 the price to reuse the die and make more of these containers. It is a ...

So basically the final version of everything you see in the following make up a complete "kit with switches". Like the switches, all of these parts will be offered "ala-carte". Cables are not shown, but would be available as well. Lots of color and connection options along the way. https://deskthor...

Hello, I've tried following this guide: https://deskthority.net/wiki/KiCAD_keyboard_PCB_design_guide but I found it too hard. There's a lot of steps the author expects us to know, and I'm getting errors that aren't addressed. I've tried messing around with the tutorial files too but I can't figure ...

The assembly by itself would need to be bubble wrapped (etc) to fill the difference. I'm not having the best day, this just makes so much sense that it just didn't connect in my current state of mind... Another thought is that some people might consider buying the boxes separately. I have all of my...

Just met with our box manufacturer, and he provided me with a protoype. Wouldn't it "pivot" around without the front secured? Should the cardboard angle down there? The front and back are secured, but I just didn't show those inserts. As far as pivoting though, the tolerance is pretty tight on the ...

I think the idea is to establish an EU proxy to receive the larger sea freight shipment, then distribute within EU countries for lower overall shipping costs.

Well, finding a voltage regulator above 3.3V with a good dropout voltage is a bit difficult apparently. So, with a 16MHz crystal and the firmware flashed at 5V, I can run it at 3.3V. Just can't reflash it at 3.3V. 8MHz crystal flashes at 3.3V, but firmware doesn't run. I'm confuzzled. But everythin...

Not per-key lighting. The LEDs will be in the frame of the case and my hope is that the case will funnel the light to the barrel frame (under the key caps) and the case edge around the key caps. I will be using just a few bright LEDs so it is quite possible that the light will not be evenly distrib...
