Could I fix my crappy TECK with a Teensy 2.0?
I read that the problem with early TECKs sending double or zero key presses could be due to the keyboard controller. The official line on the TECK website is that the Cherry MX switches need breaking in through use (even though this doesn't seem to be the case for any other keyboard). I've decided t...

I like this topic. My fave pads are the N64 pad, the Saturn pad and the Xbox Controller S. You'll notice I don't have the 360 controller on there. I almost should, because it's brilliant except for the D-pad; but the D-pad is so bad I can't put it on my list. I also don't own one - I've been holding...

I too use the 3M mouse and rate it the best computer accessory I own. I own two - one for home and one for work. I've just had a look and it seems I exclusively move the mouse using my arm, which I suppose goes some way to explaining why I can use it day after day with no problems. I can use a regul...

Active USB > PS/2 adaptor?
I'm going to assume that anyone replying knows what this is, and will recommend a good one
Just to be clear, this is for connecting a USB keyboard to a computer's PS/2 port.

Hello I can't see that taking a 3D scan of something would be legally any different to taking a photo. And modeling something shouldn't legally be any different from drawing it. But in my opinion there's not much point having a user generated database of rough CAD models. 3D scans would be better. I...

Oh mighty Orcale, I beseech thee. Should I buy the Majestouch 2 TKL (£95 GBP delivered) or Leopold FC200R ($150 USD delivered)? I prefer the LEDs on the Leopold, and I like the detachable USB cable, but some say Majestouch 2 is better to type on. Additionally, is there an equivalent where the editin...

This is a long thread, so I'll confess now that I've not read all of it. But I did register an account in order to reply :-) I did a research project on this topic several years ago. My interest came from experiencing RSI after my first computer-based essay assignment as an undergraduate. Back then ...
