Razer is hit or miss quality wise (had some models that broke within 6 months, while others lasted through years of intensive use). I'm currently using a Xai, but only had it for 6 months. Feels really solid (same sensor as the G9x btw). Logitech would also be a pretty good choice.

Get a Xai if you want the settings stored in the mouse.

With Razer its just pretty much hit or miss. Some mice are really good while others have some bad problems. They aren't the most reliable either.

One of the best mice. But I hear you shouldn't install the logitech drivers because they will give it quite heavy prediction.

I have lying around what I believe is the first IBM branded mouse. It was for their first Unix workstation - the RT 6150 http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=12377&stc=1&d=1283700790 It weighs like a brick, yet the buttons feel disappointingly mushy, like buttons on a cheap TV remote, ex...

I only compared black vs brown, and really didn't like the linear nature of the blacks. I really love the bump. I might like blue's more, but since I game quite a lot my team mates will probably hate me if I'd be spamming on a cherry blue board. I really want to try Topre once (or maybe not, cause i...

I think the only thing that will truly replace the keyboard in some useful context is voice recognition (barring some crazy-ass, thought-based system); however, it might not be feasible in an office setting. I agree that on mobile devices, touchscreens are king, but at the desk, I think keyboards a...

steelseries kinzu vs g9 anyone? G9 is old laser, not as good. G9X, G500, Xai, etc are the only decent laser mice out there. Kinzu is really bad, it has really bad acceleration issues. It has both positive and negative acceleration. Also a very low tracking speed, which means you'll hit negative acc...

Had a G9x for about a year, but my pink started to hurt after long gaming sessions. I sold it and got a Mionix Naos 5000...3 months strong and problem solved. G9x was a great mouse and I feel the Naos 5000 performs just as well (same laser if I recall)...it just feels better in my hand. Xai also ha...
