Can someone with one of these measure the actual usable DPI? If you run Enotus Mouse Test , and rather than "dragging the mouse 10cm" as it says, slowly go from the left of the exposed surface to the right (assuming acceleration is off) what DPI does it report? Note: it rounds to the nearest 200 DPI...

I have found relief from a device called the MouseBar. I know a couple others who like it very much and swear by it. For some people it is too bulky and just "in the way," but I know that it has brought genuine relief to some. You can get more info on it at http://inputdataproducts.com I think this...

I've got another workstation assesment coming up and I'm going to try and get the powers that be to get me a nice trackball or rollermouse. Switching between different hands and input methods definitely seems to be key to reducing these problems. I must caution you though. I just recently received ...

I have heard bad things about the vertical mice when researching something for my right hand. People say that they immediately feel a benefit when switching from another mouse, but then several months later they have a new pain in their wrists. The vertical "handshape grip" opens up your forearm, bu...

Just try a board with Browns, I'm serious; especially considering the price they can go for. Couldn't hurt, I suppose. You say you're not a proper touch typist, care to elaborate? It is quite an important facet I'd say, no longer focussing on finding a certain key enables you to focus on lightness ...

First of all, thank you for the replies everyone. While some of you have suggested that I try the MX Browns, I don't think I want any kind of tactile bump, which rules out any Topre keyboards as well. It just seems like an unnecessary force that is more likely to make you bottom out the keys while t...

Best switches from an ergonomics standpoint?

Earlier this year, I picked up a Logitech K750 because Ripster was going on about how good Logitech's chiclet keys were, and because it made switching between desktops & notebooks a lot easier, but after six months of use, I'm now showing RSI-related problems that I've never experienced before (thou...

Are you sure you are in the right thread? Yes, I bought a Poker in the group buy, and haven't had any contact about it or response to my emails since 8/10/11. Assuming that I had been conned and lost the money, I ended up buying a Logitech K750 at the beginning of this year (I wanted something wire...

Sorry, I suppose the question should have been: did anyone else not receive their keyboard or an email about it?

There IS a Wireless Mechanical made by iOne. It's just nobody ever buys it. No wonder, seems far too expensive, and it's using 916.5MHz RF wireless which will definitely have latency issues at the very least. Or the $109 Xarmor U9W soon to be rebranded Qpad or some such nonsense. http://www.amazon....

Would never trust wireless for gaming. Maybe in 10 years technology will be at a point where it is as fail-proof as wired but not now. Modern 2.4GHz wireless technology is suitable for gaming. The Xbox 360 wireless controllers have a 4ms response. Logitech's standard wireless (unifying receiver) is...

Thanks. Unfortunately it's using Bluetooth 2.0 which has a noticeable (100ms+) lag when gaming. Logitech products using the unifying receiver are 8ms, with gaming-class devices being under that. Razer's gaming-grade wireless is now down to 1ms, I believe. Not sure about anything else. With mice ther...

Wireless mechanical?

Does such a thing exist? I've been looking around lately, and can't seem to find any wireless mechanical keyboards. Are there technical reasons for this? Huh, I thought the main appeal of the Poker was that it was a way to get a hold of a keyboard using MX Red switches as they are so scarce. (and then Filco announced a limited edition board also using MX Reds)

I'd definitely recommend selling the pair for a single 30" 2560x1600 monitor if you can. You don't have the issues associated with multi-monitor setups, the subpixels are properly oriented, so things look better. Only then, once you need more space than that, would I go multi-monitor.
