Painting Filco Frame?
I was wondering how I'd go about disassembling the case/frame of my Filco Tenkeyless to maybe paint the frame (or whatever it's called, that main piece of plastic on the top that goes around the keys and separates the clusters of F keys and such) a cool * color. Firstly, for the actual disassembly.....

I had no idea the BlackWidow was that shiny O_o The pics do not do it justice, it is even shinier in person. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w204/moneyless27/128016940183.jpg OT here but where did you get that little AK-47? It came with a tigerstripe camo outfit for a "GI Joe for grownups" type ...

You should test the keys using the ripOmeter to see if some really do require more force. My guess is that it's just you feeling paranoid. I wonder if Canadian nickels weigh the same as US nickels. I have some American change in a box somewhere, but I don't have that many US nickels... Since the st...

...and now there's a $90 hole in my wallet ($79.99 plus 13% tax... Hate taxes). http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w204/moneyless27/2011-03-13164456.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w204/moneyless27/2011-03-13164752.jpg On the other hand, I think I like the clickiness of the blues, but some ke...

What sort of material does Steelseries use on their mice (xai, kinzu)? Those have an awesome feel to them. I loved the coating on the back of my Steelseries Ikari Laser, but it wore off way too fast IMO. The coating on all of their mice wears off too fast. I have a college friend who had the...

When I actually have time to read I don't want to waste time trying a bad novel, so I tend to stick to "literary classics" these days, although I haven't actually read a novel in a while. I loved Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut, and Dashiell Hamet's The Maltese Falcon was good, as well as other...

I just use NKRO for the hell of having it, if your questioning that you'll need NKRO, then you most likely don't need it. Pretty much why I use it as well. My motherboard has a combo mouse/keyboard PS/2 port, and it's not like I'm going to use a PS/2 mouse... So why not? It's not like it's hurting ...

Plenty of games use more than 88 keys, like various simulators or Garry's Mod and the like. Apart from ripster's modded Nostromo N52 with Cherry MX switches over at GH , I can't say I've seen any mechanical keyswitch "gamer pads." Edit: Looks like I wasn't quite quick enough to post a link to ripste...

Old tech never really disappears. The secretary at my eye doctor's office still uses an electric typewriter. I figure I'll be using a computer keyboard for several more years. Is she old? :P But yeah, like everyone else has said so far pretty much... I think touch screens are find on phones and tab...

I've never tried the Lachesis, but I've had 3 Razer mice so far and I've liked them all. (Diamondback Plasma, Diamondback 3G, DeathAdder 3.5G) You have to keep in mind that Razer mice are "for gamers," the type of people who usually don't mind overpaying if it's got LEDs/lighting, programmable butto...

Sure they were used, but probably saturated the market for now. Other than that I guess something around $80ish+

How much would an almost mint TG3 KBA-BL82 be worth? It was sort of an impulse buy from 5k177, but turns out I don't like Cherry Blacks anyway. The only thing I've done to it (apart for using it for all of two minutes) was taking out the sort of plastic wrap looking membrane to see if it would impro...
Well, the easiest way to calibrate is to have a DDC compliant monitor (most claim to but do not implement it properly) with internal LUTs that can be written to, an EyeOne Pro and a copy of ColorEyes . It's far from being the cheapest though. A basic guide would be to set the colour temperature of ...
