Favorite keyboard? Pfftcht, how about favorite font?

Sure, we all love to type, but what about the end result on-screen? Mine is Bitstream Vera Sans Mono for coding. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitstream_Vera ) It's the easiest on the eyes for me when working in a terminal, and is really easy to read. As for serif typefaces, I like Garamond. ( http...

MrInterface, can you show us pictures of your solder job? :o I'm curious as to why your fix isn't working, either. IIRC soldering USB cables back together was pretty simple (I used to mod the original Xbox controller cables to standard USB cables), but maybe you've got a super-duper-rare exception o...

Bahaha- I learned from using MSN when I was like 13/14, too! That and IRC, along with long ingame chats in UT99 or Tribes 2. (Yeah, I'm a young one. ;/)

Best way to learn typing is with practice really. There's no magic way to become a 100WPM typist over night. Yeah, but what is the best way to practice? Since I learned at a young age, I really don't remember how I started typing so fast- then again, my typing style is super odd. My fingers are on ...

Voted for 2, 4, and 5. #3 would be much better with some amber LEDs going on or something. 2 reinforces the color scheme of the forum really well. 4 is also pretty rad, it just looks cool. It's essentially soft-core keyboard pr0n. Finally, picked 5 just because it's got hiragana keycaps and feels ve...

You could IM her often, and have her try to keep up with lightning-fast-reflexes. This is actually an interesting question though- I learned mainly from playing games and being forced to type quickly. So, if FarmVille has keyboard shortcuts or something, you could teach her those?

How do you get such amazing pictures...? Would ride that actuation point any day. Anyhow, f.lux is great when I'm on the lappy in bed. My eyes are thankful- and I fall asleep way easier using it than when I forget to turn it back on after a game of Bad Company 2 or something. (Once I ran BC2 with f....

I use a Razer Lachesis- it's for both lefty and righty, with side buttons on both sides for that extra forward/back page action. I think the older model is pretty cheap now, last saw it on Newegg for $40 or so. Been using it since '08 or so.

Urgh. I'm trying to not suck- I wasn't horribad when it first came out, but I got back into other games and forgot it all. Going back through the campaign before I jump back into multiplayer again.

Wow. I feel like I'm the only person who enjoys seeing the dentist. Love that guy, my teeth get cleaned without me having to do anything about it. Of course, that feeling goes away when you get home and bite into a cookie. ;/

O, holy Oracle, I have created an account simply to petition for an answer from thine lips of wisdom. I pray thee, open them and tell me: to Noppoo Choc Mini 84, KBC Poker, or to Leopold FC200RT/AB? I seek a compact keyboard around the girth of a Happy Hacking Keyboard, but with function keys. I am,...
