Also trying to PM (about the brass plate), but it looks like you have PMs disabled and emails aren't working on this forum software.

Wow, I think this has been the only good DT thread in the past year or so. Thanks, Fanny.

You will have a very hard time to get them cheaper than that without scouring eBay for a long time.

If you're keeping the key count down, why are you including those numpad keys? They hardly seem relevant.

Re: PingJunior: 60% PingMaster build

DrClick, I'm about to buy one of these on TaoBao but am curious about one thing. Do I need to buy some microcontroller or is it included on the PCB? The PCB seems too cheap to have all the parts needed but maybe my expectations are wrong.

Re: UHK - Ultimate Hacking Keyboard --- EU/UK

I think this is a very reasonable price considering the insane new price of the UHKB, and I’m actually really interested in split 60%s, but the right hand side layout just kills me - the cap compatibility is totally broken, and for saving 0.5u. Really sad because otherwise I’d be sold.

Re: The Deskthority community it so much nicer than reddit

i think so too. i this its mostly because deskthority is moderated while reddit is not. Content on DT isn’t moderated. If you’re a dick, people will usually just tell you to fuck off, unlike on eg. MechMarket which is crazy strict (posted 1 day, 23h and 45m after your previous post instead of 2 ful...

Yes, this is a prototype and I need to fix some little problems.
Do you plan to run a GB or open-source the schematics or something? :)

WTS Empty Cherry cases: nixdorf, highscreen, gulpin, speedline, schneider

If anyone wants any of these cherry cases, let me know within the next 12 hours or so and make me an offer[*], exclusive of shipping from the UK (which can be expensive but shouldn’t be since these are light). Otherwise they’re all going to the recycler in the morning. EDIT: Plates are not compatibl...

Two things about email notifications:

- the emails are now from mech@ instead of info@ - this is pretty minor, admittedly :D
- the emails no longer include the text of the PM
