No one knows really what happened, some speculate he was overwhelmed by the amound of work relative to soldering all the transistors of round 1 PCBs - but some people who offered to solder them themselves didn't get their stuff regardless. Co-founder of a major Korean board confirmed Sprit is missin...

Originally for round one, but had to cancel because of lack of money. Reordered a year later (round 2). De offered me one of the left overs from round 1 as I had a very simple order. Did you order any extra assembly for yours? I had a black 75% PCB round 1 order with some switches and gold springs,...

I didn't know where to post this, I thought this might be of interest to builders: there's a kickstarter campaign for a circuit-board prototypes printing machine. It uses silver ink and can solder - but not drill holes: 1200$ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/voltera/voltera-your-circuit-board-pr...

Whenever I picture what the people at SP must look like, it looks like The Office.

I must say I thought the red would pop a bit more. Looks a bit more bordeaux wine than scarlet red compared to the pics in page 1.

Ah, I'm afraid there actually is a problem with the row 4 WFK keys! They have taken the accents into account to center the height, which results in those keys to appear lower than their counterpart (eg. 'ê' is a bit lower than 'e' and all other keys because the '^' was counted as part of the letter)...

Oh worry not, I've ordered more keycaps than I'll ever need in R5 already :P

I was just thinking a grid layout makes sense for 40% and 60% as it makes it easier to figure out the FN layers (eg. for arrows, numerical keypad).

Edit: my bad, just saw the planck keyboard project.

Since you guys are crazy enough to go all the way developing this and it will require custom keycaps anyway, why not make an ergonomically sound design with a grid/matrix layout instead of the same old one which doesn't make sense?
