Oui, chez Sculpteo c'était du mdf, et de l'alu de diverses épaisseurs (2 et 3mm) chez john steel. Dans tous les cas, mêmes dimensions sur les .dxf et des découpes tout à fait adaptées.

Rectification : 19.05mm c'est l'empreinte 1u entière, mes ouvertures de switchs pour plaque dans mes .dxf font 13.97mm de côté. Je n'ai jamais utilisé l'outil de swill mais en faisant un test rapide ça donne des ouvertures de 13.99mm de côté, je pense que c'est suffisamment proche pour faire abstrac...

En tout cas ça ne pose aucun problème pour du MDF 3mm chez Sculpteo (compare la valeur donnée pour le kerf), les switchs s'emboitent bien sans aucun jeu (découpes de 19.05mm de côté sur le fichier .dxf, je n'ai pas de pied à coulisse assez précis pour mesurer les ouvertures, ça aurait été intéressan...

I'd say that different keycaps won't affect the feel of the switches themselves. But they will affect the way your keyboard feels. Not heavier, not lighter, not more tactile, but different to type on.

I can adjust to another layout, to different switch types, to PCB feature set (programmability, backlight), however if I have to type on crappy keycaps I know I'm going to feel miserable. This is a 3mm LED, flangeless.

Can you reflow the switch solder joints? Sometimes they look good on the outside but have problems (cold joints). Heat them, and add a bit of solder (the basic hobbyist rosin core solder which contains flux, so that the solder flow well).
