For what it's worth... my DC-2014 does work with the Orihalcon Soarer's converter. I've sometimes had to attempt to bring it up with a system a couple of times, but it did ultimately work for me, no special wiring or pin connections needed to be made to my keyboard.

Subjectivity alert: a while back I'd linearized an AT101W, and really disliked the feeling. My experience was they they are much scratchier than Alps green or Cherry MX red, but worse, felt kind of mushy and "lifeless." When disassembling the switches, they did not appear to be dirty, and every sin...

Makes me wonder if this is just a temporary craze, or if blue Alps are just going to keep increasing as time passes.

I'm not sure what all this fuss is about not having mouse space with full-sized keyboards.

Just kidding. All I do is slide it to the left a bit and life is good. I'll never give up my behemoths, for any reason!

Welcome! I'm clueless on the switch type, but am interested. I dug through the Wiki but didn't find anything really close (that doesn't mean I couldn't have missed it). The only result of the time spent was a yearning for greater search abilities, but that can't happen without a database. I can see ...

Cool slow-motion video of keyboard destruction

Caught this today - some things being destroyed by being dropped into an upside-down electric lawn mower - including a couple of keyboards (fortunately they look like cheap/generic rubber domes, and I don't see any springs flying out!), by cameras with super-high frame rates. Neato! I think I like t...

MK2016 from MechanicalKeyboards.com, Cherry MX blues. I love it. It's actually a Ducky and I really like the quality and the PBT keycaps (including space bar). Frankly I would have preferred the blue to be a bit darker, but... this works. The key colors sold me! r20160117_102537.jpg More pics here: ...

I saw that fix come through the Debian stable security repo recently. Yes, there was a problem and it's good that it's buttoned up, but if there is anyone that EVER uses an SSH client to connect to untrusted servers, I'd like to know why. :)

In other words, no biggy in the scope of things.
