The two lower SSK’s should be ANSI - according to the Backspace Keys, which are similar

I have finally found the time to convert two of my three SSK's to ISO. Did a screw mod - and made a post about it in the Workshop thread. Love this keyboard!

(The media keys are from Unicomp and I am using adapters from Orihalcon)

Forgive me if this question has been afsked before - but why not make these keycaps for buckling spring switches. Is the market too small?

I once had a black IBM cable belonging to a 1986 Model M. And it needed an adapter before I could plug it into a Blue cube active converter. Cindy, do your black cables also need such adapters?

Thanks for a very informative reply - what would the price be for a piece of SSK foam?

I recently noticed, that Ellipse is making spare foam as part of a first aid kit to his nye Model F's. Would it be interesting for this GB to be able to get some extra foam - in case of a spill?

Perhaps the personal avatar keycaps could match the number of bought M/F's - against additional payment?

I'm also in for a replica of the original SSK case in similar or higher quality. Perhaps black? It could turn out nice. Regarding the logo - not that important to me, as long as it fits visually. Not too big IMO.

A few remarks on the interesting case discussion: I could easily live with a replica of the SSK case. The primary thing I'm worried about, in a new case project, is an increased sound level. Regarding cases... has there been any discussion about the effect of a sound dampening layer on the inside, both metal and resin cases? I think it could be of some benefit. And there´s also the dimensions of the case. In a loudspeaker cabinet of higher quality, the internal sides are most often not ...
