For me the trick is that we all know that this is a honey trap. The switches were not changed to be quieter but because original switches have a lot of value. Even the phrasing "genuine Alps" it's made up so someone could fall speed reading or reading with a translator app. Refusing to cancel before...

Re: Tipro (MX blacks), Free G81 parts + more!

They have a PS/2 port however you will need to use a 32 bit OS/virtual box if you want to reprogram the keyboard over PS/2 (I think?) Ok. Thanks. To program a Tipro over PS/2 requires a 32 bit OS,virtual machines will not work, see https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18949 for the work aroun...

[WTT/WTS] [IC] MITO Laser SA - Mitowaves extras

Today I've made my preorder of the Mito SA Laser keyset. One of the child kit I've preordered is called "Mitowaves" and includes several novelties. In my case I'm only interested in a small fraction of this keys (9 out of 42) so I've decided to open the rest if anyone is interested in any of them fo...

Right - it's a chording keyboard.

Here's a video of someone doing 62wpm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI8X4JTBrew
As I supposed, a third of the "words" counted are 1-3 characters long. I doubt than a third of words used in "real world usage are this long.

Re: tapwithus "keyboard"

That 60 wpm with this device seems pretty difficult. It's a tap for each letter so we are talking about 250 "precise" taps in a minute. I would guess you need a lot more taps than one for each letter. How else would you type 26 diffent letters + numbers and special characters with only 5 fingers? I...
