Will this be a steno-keyboard or a press multiple keys to generate 1 character type of thing? If it's the former, maybe Plover* might come in handy.

Yes, I'm certainly a big fan of Icarus Proudbottom myself. In case you haven't enjoyed it already, you might want to risk a look at Icarus Proudbottom in The Curse of the Chocolate Fountain (2010), which is available for Windows and Mac for free here.

Remapping the top number row completely and changing "2" and "3" to become modifiers for two extra layers (numerical and symbolic) with conveniently placed symbols, especially on the spacebar. Competely eliminates the need the look at the keyboard (for % or 5, 6, & symbols etc), leads to fewer pinky...

So it stays at 10:1:9 for 2 days and then RO59 gets 2 votes in the last few hours? Really? We could do a public poll with checkboxes instead of radiobuttons. Then everybody who participates, commits to buying whatever he voted for, and we order whatever gets the most votes. And votes by accounts les...

Just replaced the stems in my Truly Ergonomic with black ones, but left the F-row and the three toggle buttons beneath it as the original Browns, and now I'm certain I prefer the Ghetto Reds. Browns are nice to type on for long periods (~30 minutes and longer) at a time, but they feel clogged to me ...

You could also put lighter switches in the mouse. I just replaced the Omron D2FC-F-7N in my Logitech G9 with D2F-F, which need less force to actuate (75gf. My guess is the original ones needed 150gf). I've yet to see if they last as long as the original (5 years), I definitely like them better.

Brown vs Red

Those of you, who use keyboards for their profession and tried both switch types, which do you prefer? I've been typing on reds for quite some time now, and just recently switched to browns. My first impression was browns posed more resistance. Now I feel like they're easier to type on, but I'm not ...

notice the italic variant is not simply a skewed regular (compare "f" in line 153 vs 154), which adds more visual structure to the code.

I don't think there is something like a sopa/pipa/acta-safe place to register domain names. In the end they're all handled by ICANN, which is located in America und thus subject to american law.

Browns make the Poker feel cheap. I started with blue switches, since I thought the tactile and audible bump would help me to not bottom out. It didn't, I actually bottom much less on red switches (meaning rarely). I also felt the tensening in my hands sometimes, but that went away, so I stuck with ...
