[SOLD] [US-TX] IBM SSK NIB/NOS - Space Saving Keyboard 1397680
For sale is a brand new, new old stock, new in the box, sealed, 1992 vintage, IBM Model M Space Saving Keyboard. I came into four of these over the summer from a former colleague who purchased them roughly in the early '00s. Three have already sold for the $300 asking price. I'm still asking $300, P...

Re: Teardown - new Ellipse beamspring switches!
What sort of longevity is he quoting for these switches? IBM spent big bucks on a fairly exotic steel alloy for the beams in their original boards for longevity. Input Club and Kailua gave up their cloning effort because they could not source an appropriate steel. I’m worried that this is a toy that...

Meanwhile, I printed front legends for my board.
I also put Alps SKCM Cream Damped switches in this board. Next step is to put latching switches under the two Lock keys, like the Symbolics original.

Re: Request for Peer Review: Space Cadet Schematic & PCB (KiCAD)
What is your goal with this project? It’s not clear. Do you want to do a PCB swap on a board you don’t have? Is it an art project? Hard to give feedback without knowing your goals here.
