Does this mean 2u, 2.25u and 2.75u blanks for split space bar boards are not in scope for the first drop?matt3o wrote: ↑we only have 6.25 and 7 spacebars. please remember this is a completely new set done from scratch. If the first drop is successful we will have more molds, just not now

I'm missing HONEYB/SHIFT225/BLACK but I can see it in HONEYB/SIXTYBASE/BLACK. My order already has all the other keys in HONEYB/SIXTYBASE/BLACK and most of this is locked. As I can't remove locked keys from my order, it's a bit expensive to have to order a 49USD kit just for one key. Is there a way ...

While the smaller case may look nothing like a the original, it would be good if it had some reminders of its origin. I would prefer powdered coated preferably in industrial grey. If industrial grey isn't available then off-white/beige. The removable usb cable is also a great idea. Will the smaller ...

Is the thinner F77 case also going to look like this last design? Will there be a separator between the main part of the keyboard and the numpad/cursor key area? Once powdercoated, will this also have the bumpy finish of the original cases? Is it possible to round off the top and bottom edges to mak...

Thanks for answering Ellipse. I'll stick with what's on my form for now. I would like to see the prototype smaller case before deciding whether to go with that or not.Ellipse wrote: ↑I can update your form if you change your mind - no need to resubmit. Feel free to let me know what you decide.

I'm trying to choose between a F62 in the original case or a F77 in the smaller case. I changed from a full size board to a TKL to bring the mouse closer to me. The TKL is 14" wide, which I think is the same as the F62 in the original case. I prefer the F77 layout because it can have separate cursor...

I have just noticed that some keys in stock for HONEY are cheaper the corresponding keys for order in HONEYB. For instance: HONEY/F1TOF12/BLACK $ 9 HONEYB/F1TOF12/BLACK $16 Many months ago, I order the HONEYB versions. (Either the HONEY equivalents were not available at the time or I didn't spot the...

I would be interested in an assembly service as I don't have a soldering iron. As it's being sold on Massdrop you could ask them about previous drops where kits or fully assembled was an option. I guess the proportion of orders for fully assembled would determine whether it's worth the extra logisti...

I also prefer the feel of Topre switches to Matias. But if I want to get a split keyboard, what choices do I have? From the non-mech side there's Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic, Goldtouch or Kinesis Freestyle. Then roughly in order of increasing price there's the Ergo Pro (Matias quiet click), TECK (Kai...

The Ergo Pro is now on its way to Spikebolt. Yes, I've noticed Apple's slim return too. (I'm currently typing on an Apple Wireless at home and a Novatouch at work.) I'm guessing it was introduced with the current aluminium keyboards. I have a white plastic keyboard that still had traditional key cap...

Choosing between ISO and ANSI is going to be tricky. All of the keyboards I have used since my first PC in 1996 have been UK ISO. My Novatouch is ISO too. It would be nice to stick to a consistent layout and go for an ISO Ergo Pro too. But adapting to the ANSI Ergo Pro was much easier than I thought...

I didn't have time to mention this earlier but the Ergo Pro turned up with almost perfect timing for me. Earlier this month I developed a hot sensation in the palm of my left hand between my little finger and wrist. It would come and go but seemed to worsen after typing. My left hand also felt weak ...

I took it to work yesterday. Here are my first impressions. It attracts a lot of attention. Of the 10 or so different people who came to speak to me at my desk yesterday, more than half asked me about it. I think it helps that it looks like something on which to get some work done rather than a game...

A photo of a RAL 7030 board next to a beige board would also be helpful. For instance, the RAL 7030 in this photo is a more biegy grey than those in hammelgammler's post. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-0HMEzRUVyzs/UwOlZduFd6I/AAAAAAAAC_s/wen9rIp04qI/w1655-h1225-no/IMG_20140218_191948.jpg (The im...

A couple of questions:
1. What are the dimensions of the cases for both F62 and F77?
2. Is the grey colour option meant to match the industrial SSK like this one? http://deskthority.net/f-o-r-s-a-l-e-f5 ... 10091.html

Costs for SEPA in the UK currently vary by bank. First direct only charged me 4 GBP when I bought my Round5/5A order earlier this year. http://www1.firstdirect.com/1/2/Foreignpayments The only wrinkle was that I had to phone them up to initiate the transfer. It can't yet be done from their website. ...
