Typing Demo XL - Acer switch, "pine" (Acer 6312)

As requested, a TDXL of Acer switches! I figured this would be a good opportunity to show the "pine" variety more, as very few people have actually heard of it. Hope you enjoy the video! :)

Eating oreos without milk should be a criminal offence anyway. Tastiness increases by +12000%! I always just ate them straight out of the box, milk sounds like a good idea now that you mention it  Dunk them in it until they become soft but don't fall apart yet, then proceed to eat. It'll chang...

Das Keyboard 5Q review (Omron Gamma Zulu)

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Chicony did use Alps/Silitek-style cases like that (also others though), but the caps are very different from early-era Chicony ones, and the lock light sticker (one of the biggest differentiators for 5160-style keyboards) is uniquely different.

Re: Blue Alps Destructive Testing

There are differences between blue Alps, however I'm not sure that this extended to differences in lubricant in plastic yet. I have tried out different generations and they do feel different. Yours will be older blue Alps, at least 2nd gen. A former Alps employee couldn't guide me further than that ...

Re: I think the model f 122 may just be my favorite keyboard overall.

I played with the tension of the bolts a bit more. I found that the bolt mod is extremely helpful, but you don't want the bolts too tight. I cranked them down pretty tight after first putting the new foam in, but I loosened them after 48 hours. The sound is attenuated when they're too tight, with a...

Something a little different from the usual weekly TDXL; this time, as requested, a sound comparison between stock, click-modded and linear-modded Dell AT101s. All are model 90 keyboards (GYUM90SK), identical audio setup and gain, no added effects. Hope you enjoy the video! :)

interesting! It's good to see you made such nice use of the board; it's definitely a looker after all, just with rather meh switches. Futaba MA aren't great IMO, but definitely have perks of their own - they're certainly not without merit. Noice! :)
