I should touch the 9V contacts more often, maybe that reminds me to be more careful with 230V. Got shocked briefly yesterday, because I assumed my coworkers would think like I had.

As a german who has done some programming and some use of a Linux shell, I can tell, that ~ on the Alt-Gr Layer is fine. I would rather have {[]}\„“” more easily accessable. When I had to write spanish from time to time though, I would like a deadkey ~ on the main layer I guess. Scratch that, Alt-Gr...

In case you are using make and are getting that nice-looking GUI: make does get called with Makefile.pjrc, not the regular Makefile?

there's no KC_/, KC_*, KC_- etc. defined, which makes total sense.

I basically like that there's no third party involved, with all the benefits you get from that. And when I say "benefits", I don't think of them as a bonus; it's the basic stuff I would want from money, that other payment options don't give.

It seems that I may be one of the few who likes cash. I always pay cash unless I don't meet the other party in person or the amount is more than about 200 bucks. Everyday personal life is 100% cash, the occasional higher sums bank transfer and online stuff mostly paypal.

As for the physical vs. electrical layout thing: That's a main point that you can do with the KEYMAP-macro. You can use it as an abstraction layer between the physical layout and electrical connections. As a side effect it lets you save the "KC_" of the beginning of the keycode defines. Let me try t...

These kinds of tap-macros are kind of nasty to provide. On TMK 90% of the time the default behaviour was next to perfect to what I could have (still not what I wanted, because what I wanted was a "do what I think right now"-solution), but in some corner-cases I just needed something else. example: I...

Ah, I don't know about the TMK Keyboard Editor, but it should default to left shift + right shift + pause, or something similar (probably depending on the base firmware file you choose). You still might need to set the correct bootloader size in Makefile, if you have bad luck.

with TMK you can enter the mode where you can flash, from the normal firmware running. So you don't necessarily need acess to the hardware button, unless she removes that keybind. Do you know how to do that? Because that would be a game changer right there! It's been a while since I did that, but I...

Trying the Free2 out right now; first impression is, makes more sense for everyday use than a mouse. Button arrangement seems a bit strange right now.

This one at some point definately was in a non smoke-free environment. Probably cherry if you ask me ;)
