Sorry, did not have as much time for this as I imagined. As far as my use case the firmware is now feature complete and I’ll just verify the battery usage before releasing it. I managed to add wireless layout modification via a web page and on the go host switching in the last couple of weeks.

The pcb layout drawings are always from the side of the component. You can be sure in this case also based on the shape of the connector. Ie. ^ vs v. If the connector is not oriented the same as the one you have, then the pins are mirrored.

You might be able to find an ’upside down’ usb connector as well. At least molex makes them for both orientations. (Search for reverse mount)

The tmk github has very basic info, but it all should be very straight forward. Just make sure that your build has debug features enabled and press magic+d and you should see something in the hid listen window. I can try to help more next week if you are still struggling.

TMK has built in debug printing support. You can print out stuff with xprintf and see the output using PJRC's HID listen tool.

Just remember to add wireless DFU support as well
