I have been using the realforce black/grey, those legends are practically useless in all but the most well lit situations. I like that a lot about the Realforce 'boards. For all intents and purposes, it works just like a blank 'board. When I absolutely need the legends, though, at least I have some...

I don't support the blank or "Otaku" methods of touch typing...I feel like that's just there as a kind of "showing off". When I type, I never look at my key legends, but when I need them, they are clearly visible. I stare at the screen 99% of the time. This makes me type the brackets easily, and the...

What kind of keyboard switch is this?

Does anybody know what kind of switching mechanism is in this board? it's SOOO stiff! my fingers get tired just resting on it, because it feels linear and has no tactile response. The back of the keyboard says: G81-1800LPMUS-2 I don't think the keycaps are anything special, but would like to know wh...

I think instead of putting all your prized boards in boxes, you should put them in glass/acrylic display cases. That way, you can at least SEE your creations.

It wasn't hard to do, just followed a guide from GH to replace the 30g pinkies and I decided to go all the way. I only used one board, didn't destroy any more "one cup goodness" of other boards. hehe I've owned the all 103UB all 55g board prior to this 86U and I'd have to say, it's not that pleasant...

I think Sixty's way of preserving the original keyboard box's graphics a GREAT way to save an otherwise ruined collector's item. However, if you're just trying to re-use boxes, and want to make your re-use'd box look neat, you can use a box cutter or razor blade and trace a thin line around the outs...

How much would a modded 86U be worth? I've turned the entire A-Z keys area to 45g even weighted, the Insert/End/Del/PgUp/PgDn/Home, Print Screen/ Scroll Lock/ Pausebreak buttons are all 35g, and the Up/Down/Right/Left arrows are of course the left over 30g...
